Immigration Accompaniement and Support Program (PASI)

Through individual meetings and group activities, the Carrefour emploi des Collines (CEC) offers support, coaching and accompaniment in the settlement and integration process for the new immigrant.

What we offer:

• Assistance or referral for many immigration procedures;
• Help to acquire important documents (health insurance card, social insurance number, driver’s license, government forms, etc.);
• Help to find a family doctor;
• Opening a bank account;
• Housing search;
• Finding childcare place and registration of children for school;
• Participating in cultural activities and outings;
• Participating in workshops on tax returns, cultural shock, civic participation and more;
• Improving verbal communication through French conversation workshops;
• Informing and accompanying the immigrant in the various steps concerning immigration;
• Group activities on different themes;
• Discussions in French through exchanges and sharing;
• Workshops to get to know each other and to break the solitude and isolation;
• Information sessions related to intercultural relations in order to reconcile the culture of origin and the host country;
• And much more.
