Who we are

Our history

The “Centre intégré d’employabilité locale (CIEL) des Collines-de-l’Outaouais (CIEL)” was established on 1st March 2010, following the signature of a service agreement between the “Centre de services pour l’économie et l’emploi (CSÉE) des Collines-de-l’Outaouais” and “Emploi-Québec”.  The objective of this specialized service, called “Service d’aide à l’emploi (SAE)” is to provide all residents of the six municipalities of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais with a specialized accompaniment services to validate their professional choices, to carry out a return-to-work opportunity or a return to school for a qualifying educational program.

In 2017, we formulated a first request to merge with the family of Quebec’s CJEs. In 2019, we organized a mobilization day with partners and young people so that they could be heard in the wider Quebecer community.  Also, we conducted two surveys during the previous years (2017 and 2019) through the contacting of the young people of our territory.

n July 2021, the “Carrefour jeunesse emploi” was officially affiliated to “CIEL des Collines-de-l’Outaouais“, thanks to the CRENEAU program of the CJEs. In 2022, we became the “Carrefour emploi des Collines”.
